Generally, if you want to know Tanzanian culture, the first thing is to get different tribes’ exposure in Tanzania and study their daily life.
Regardless of these 120 tribes, The first president of Tanzania before Tanganyika worked hard to unit them to form one nation regardless of their cultural differences. Hence it ended up being a multi-cultural peaceful country in the world.
15 days Tanzania Cultural tour is a tailored-made safari to get exposure and study the major tribes of Tanzania. It aims to cover the major tribes which have been valuing their culture since independence and it will cover the major cultural identities such as:

It will be represented by the large tribe in Tanzania which is the Sukuma tribe . The Sukuma tribe has several features which have been an identity to lake zone tribes.
On top of all, we pass across Serengeti national park to the Zanaki tribe in Butiama . at Zanaki tribe, we will focus on the Tanzanian first president, The Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere Museum .
It will be represented by three tribes, which are Chagga as the business tribe, Maasai as the cattle keeper tribe, and Datooga representing hunting and traditional iron processing tribe.
It will be represented by the Hehe tribe as one of the powerful tribes before colonization and owning several economical activities.
It will be represented by the Makonde tribe. Makonde is superior in caving activities all over Tanzania and East Africa countries.
It will be illustrated through the historical old cities of Bagamoyo and Kilwa Island old cities. These cities will provide the full picture of Swahili language growth and the coastal region people’s life.
The First Day of our multi-tribe cultural tour will start at Arusha. we will have about 2 to 3 hours drive to the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro where Chagga people found.
At Kilimanjaro, we will head to Marangu for our cultural trip exhibition and practices
At Marangu, we will have exposure to Chagga life such as their beliefs, economical activities, traditional brewing, traditional coffee processing, coffee and banana farms, Chagga dancing, and Chagga foods as well.
On top of it, we will have an insight on Chagga Clan and activities distribution among family members this will also be topped up with the effects of globalization on Chagga culture.
That will mark the day trip to the Chagga tribe and we will drive back to Arusha.
The trip will start at Arusha at about 2 to 3 hours drive to the western part of Arusha City.
We will move to the Maasai Lang'ata at Monduli district.
At Maasai Lang'ata you will get exposure to the Maasai family and clan in general plus the effects of globalization in their tribes.
while at Maasai Lang'ata you will have exposure to Maasai economical activities, job distribution among the family members, leadership, cow milking, their traditional houses, and their sleeping arrangement in their houses.
This will be accompanied by wonderful Maasai dressing practises for photo taking and dancing with Maasai.
We will get our accommodation at lodge in Mto wa Mbu near Manyara Nationa Park in Arusha
On the third day, the journey to datooga tribe famous for traditional iron processing will move to around lake Eyasi.
Datooga tribe is popularly known for clicking sounds in their language, is unrelated to any regional language.
The Datooga is a small hunter-gatherer tribe, one the world's last remaining of its kind. Without livestock or agriculture, most mornings start with hunting and foraging, adhering to a simple diet that many belief holds the key to health. Gender roles are distributed where men typically hunt on their own to bring home meat and honey, while women and children gather fruits, berries, and roots.
after this trip, we will move to Datooga iron tools shop and get exposure to different iron tools produced traditionally by Datooga tribe.
after there, we will get our accommodation at Mto wa Mbu again get prepared for the long Journey to Mwanza (Sukuma Tribe's trip)

This is one day drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area and through Serengeti National Park to Butiama where the late Julius Kambarage Nyerere was born and laid to rest.
This will involve a game drive across Serengeti National Park from one side to another side of the Serengeti national park.
Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere Museum is located at Butiama village - the birth and burial place of the Father of The nation in, Butiama District, Mara Region in Tanzania. The museum was officially opened on 2 July 1999. Julius Nyerere also attended the opening ceremony.
It hosts various items for public display by Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere. The items include those which:

Given as gifts during his presidency.
Personally used in his farm in his home village of Butiama, Tanzania.

This is one day drive to Mwanza Region for about 10hrs in a private car.
While moving to Mwanza, you will get exposure to Tanzania life in general while passing around different tribes along the way to Mwanza.
on the way, we will have our lunch box as our lunch and dinner in the hotel in Mwanza
On day five you will visit the Sukuma tribe exibition. at this exhibition you gen exposure to Sukuma snake dancing, Sukuma economic activities, sukuma dressing style, Sukuma Museum, Sukuma job distribution among family members, Sukuma leadership structures, and effects of globalization to Sukuma culture
This is one day private drive trip to Kigoma Ujiji . Ujiji is one of the old cities in Tanzania. Along the way to Kigoma Ujiji, we will have ample time to observe the multi-cultural activities of Tanzanians. This will include social and economical activities. Along the way is one of the unforgettable adventures in your life as you will experience the true and natural life of Tanzanians.
The origins of The Bende tribe are said to be in Western Cameroon. What is sure is that the Bende came from the region of central Africa. Their culture began to expand to other sub-Saharan Africa around 2000 BC
Traditional music was usually practiced in their tribe with an expectation of cleansing the soul and chase away spirits.

One day drive from Iringa to Mtwara Region.

This is one day trip to the Makonde tribe and it will take about 6 hrs.
At the Makonde exhibition, you will get exposure to the Makonde tribe culture. The Makonde clan is very Unequal as compared to the rest of the tribes you will have been before in Tanzania. The job distribution among family members to the Makonde tribe is very interesting but also the effect of globalization on the Makonde people is something that will entertain you to get more insights about the Makonde tribe.

On the tenth day, we will drive from Mtwara to Kilwa Masoko.
this will mark the start of coastal region tribes exploration. The drive will be almost along the coast of the Indian Ocean. we will end at Kilwa Masoko while preparing for one day trip to one of the old cities of Kilwa Island.
Situated off the coast of Tanzania. The Island of Kilwa Kisiwani mainly konwn as isle of the fish, was once the center of one of the greatest empires in East Africa.
From the 9th century all the way up until the 19th century, Kilwa Kisiwani was a wealthy and powerful port, reaching its peak around the late-Middle Ages. At its height, the empire stretched from Kenya to Mozambique, and Kilwa Kisiwani’s prosperity was crucial to the development of Swahili civilization.
After this insightful narration about Kilwa Kisiwani, we will board our private board back to Kilwa Masoko and have our sleeping there and get prepared for the trip to Dar es Salaam.
This is 6 hrs drive from Kilwa masoko to Dar es Salaam. Along the way to Dar es Salaam, you will be exposed to different tribes with different cultures. On top of it, you will be observing different vegetation along the Indian coast.

Around the 17th century, this area began growing in prosperity and by the 18th century, it was an important stop in the caravan trade, acquiring the name Bagamoyo. Being the important stop is where the name Bagamoyo started meaning "Throw Your Heart" equivalent to "Give Up" in the english language. It became the most important trading entrepot of the east central coast of Africa in the late 19th century.
You will have about 4 hours in Bagamoyo on a guided tour.
in the end, we will depart to Dar es Salaam for the accommodation in the hotel getting prepared to depart to Arusha.
The Stone Town City Tour and Seafoods
This is three days tour to Zanzibar. It will start with a boat tour of about 1.5 hrs from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar Island.
day time we will have a tailored made city tour in stone. we will have exposure to the old slave market, the old city of Zanzibar, and the Freddie Mercury museum while tonight we will have seafood at Forodhani Garden.
Jozan Forest Tour
The Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is a 50 km² national park in Tanzania located on the island of Zanzibar. It is the only national park in Zanzibar and it is about 45 minutes’ private drive north coast unique Red Colobus Monkeys, they are very friendly sometimes they may come to your hands, you can take pictures with them, plus guide in the forest who will explain the uniqueness of the forest. After there we can drive to Paje beach for lunch and swimming.
Jambo Spice Farm
on the third day, we will have a tour of Jambo farm spice, About 35 minutes drive from stone town: This includes elaboration from the guide, spices trees, but smell, test, and feel, buy some spices.
This is about 5 hrs drive from Dar es Salaam to Tanga city.
This scenic is one of the best trips as it will cross one region before attaining Tanga. you will be exposed to different tribes around and natural vegetation which will be very illustrative in understanding natural and manmade vegetation and Tanzanian culture diversification.
This will mark the end of 14 days trip to explore Tanzanian tribes
The Amboni Caves are the most extensive limestone caves in East Africa. They are located 8 km north of Tanga City in Tanzania off the Tanga-Mombasa road. The caves were formed about 150 million years ago during the Jurassic age. It covers an area of 234 km². According to researchers, the area was underwater some 20 million years ago. There are altogether ten caves but only one is used for guided tours.
This is the last adventure in our multi-tribes safari in Tanzania. We will pass to several adventures observing different tribes with their respective economical and social activities as we are approaching our starting point in Arusha.
